Wood Pallet Removal

Wood Pallet Removal

Delivery finished, but the pallets are still there? EZ Haulaway provides wood pallet removal in Parker, Castle Rock and the Denver metro area. We pick up unwanted wooden pallets from homes, businesses and job sites, load them and haul them away so the space is usable again.

We also do wood scrap removal. Broken pallet boards, leftover lumber and loose wood offcuts can be quoted with the pallets rather than becoming a second cleanup project. Send photos of the whole pile and tell us where it sits; we will review the material and access before arranging pickup.

Pallet pickup for homes, shops and job sites

A patio-material delivery, a new appliance shipment or a renovation can leave pallets behind long after the product is unpacked. Businesses can accumulate them beside receiving doors or in storage areas. Our pallet pickup service is for material you own or are authorized to dispose of. Tell us whether you have a small stack in a driveway, scattered broken pallets behind a building or a larger pile at a job site. Photos and a rough count help us plan the load without guessing.

Broken pallet removal without handling every nail yourself

Broken pallets are awkward to move: slats split, nails stick out and a stack can shift when lifted. You do not need to dismantle them into individual boards before requesting a quote. Leave unstable stacks alone and keep children and pets away from the pile. Let us know about loose nails, sharp hardware or pallets hidden under other material so we can assess the job. Safe access matters more than a perfectly organized stack.

Wood scrap removal alongside your pallets

If the pallets are only part of the mess, include the scrap wood in your photos. We can review lumber offcuts, packing wood, loose boards and leftover project material together. Describe any paint, pressure treatment, glue, oil or chemical contamination rather than calling every piece clean wood. Different materials can need different disposal routes. A pile containing drywall, roofing or other remodel waste belongs in a broader construction debris quote; an attached deck or standing fence needs demolition rather than pickup of loose boards.

Pallet removal cost: what goes into your quote

Pallet removal is quoted as hauling, not as a promise to buy your pallets. Our current minimum service charge is $150; your actual quote depends on the amount of wood, trailer space, loading work, access and disposal requirements. A loose pile of broken boards loads differently from neatly stacked pallets, and a long carry from behind a building takes more work than driveway pickup. Send a rough pallet count, approximate dimensions and photos of any additional wood. We confirm the job and price before loading; a photo estimate is preliminary until the scope is checked.

Paid pallet hauling versus free pallet recycling

If you are searching for free pallet pickup, it helps to separate two services. A pallet buyer or recycler may want a consistent supply of intact pallets in specific sizes and condition. Broken pallets, unusual sizes or piles mixed with scrap lumber may not fit that model. EZ Haulaway offers paid removal when you need the unwanted material gone. We do not advertise free collection or payment for pallets. If yours are reusable, checking with the supplier or a local pallet recycler first may make sense; if you want a hauling quote, send us the pile as it is.

What happens to unwanted wood pallets?

Reuse and recycling depend on the wood's condition and what a receiving facility accepts. Clean, intact pallets are different from painted boards, pressure-treated lumber or oil-soaked wood. We review the load and arrange an appropriate disposal route; we do not promise that every pallet will be recycled. Do not burn pallets or unidentified scrap wood as a shortcut to disposal. If you know what the pallets carried or how the lumber was treated, share that information with the photos.

How to prepare for a wood pallet pickup

Take one wide photo showing the whole pile and a closer photo showing its condition. Include your city, approximate pallet count, any unusually large pallets and where the truck can park. Mention gates, stairs, loading docks, restricted receiving hours and other obstacles. Separate anything you are keeping and confirm permission before removing rented, borrowed or supplier-owned pallets. You do not need to carry the pile to the curb just to get a quote. We will discuss access and a pickup time that works for the job.

Commercial pallet piles and larger cleanups

For a shop, warehouse or contractor, the goal is often to reopen a loading area rather than dispose of one pallet. Show us the surrounding material as well as the wood: packing debris, shelving and other unwanted items can change the size of the cleanup. Tell us whether the pile is a one-time clear-out or an ongoing need so we can discuss availability and scope. Large loads may require more than one trip; we review capacity before making a scheduling commitment.

The experience

What to Expect When You Book Wood Pallet Removal

Every job follows the same straightforward process — so you always know where things stand.

It starts with a photo or a quick call. We look at what you have, give you a straightforward price, and schedule a time that works for you — often within a few days. When our crew arrives, we walk the job with you and confirm the price before anything is loaded, so the number you approved is the number you pay.

From there, you don't lift a thing. We handle the carrying, the stairs, the tight corners, the loading, and the haul away — then sweep the area before we leave. Usable items are sorted for donation and recycling wherever we can, so less of your load ends up in a landfill.

What customers across Parker, Castle Rock, and the Denver metro area mention most is the feeling afterward: the space is back, the project is finally off the to-do list, and it took one visit instead of a whole weekend. That's how wood pallet removal should feel — easy from the first call to the final sweep.
